By the grace of God and the good offices of Eric Nelson, I arrived at the Milwaukee Airport in time to have a breakfast bottle of New Glarus Spotted Cow beer. Until this morning, I haven’t had a beer for breakfast since I rolled out of bed as a senior in high school and guzzled a bottle of St. Pauli Girl I had hidden in my dorm fridge (and yes, I got caught, and in big trouble). But boy, was that Spotted Cow delicious. You Wisconsin folks sure have it good. What a memorable farewell. It left me feeling downright recombobulated!
