In the Maddalena Archipelago, Sardinia, Italy

Our friend and reader Giuseppe Scalas is on holiday with his family in his native Sardinia. They chartered a 55-foot ketch, and were well taken care of by its owners. He writes:

At midday we had a very nice lunch in the cockpit while the children had theirs at the wheel, with a variety of entrees, seafood spaghetti and a nice and cool vermentino wine, all with a view on the stunning sapphire-colored sea. It was pure bliss.

That’s just perfect, isn’t it? More information about the Maddalena Archipelago, off the northwestern coast of Sardinia, here.
