My wife Julie, above, is a fan girl of Sister Vassa Larin (right), the Russian Orthodox nun, professor, and leader of an international group of devotees called the Zillions, who await their every instruction via Sister Vassa’s YouTube broadcasts.
Sister Vassa flew to the US from her Vienna abode to address a Russian Orthodox youth conference in Ohio this weekend. Julie took Matthew, but I think doing something nice for the teenager was really a ruse by which she could achieve her dream of meeting Sister Vassa. Mission accomplished, q.e.d.
