Just got back from a deep-sea fishing trip. Some friends and I chartered a boat out of Venice, Louisiana — literally the end of the road. We caught two big yellowfin tuna, a small yellowfin tuna, five amberjacks and a wahoo. Here’s a shot of some of our crew, with our catch. A shark took a big hunk out of the tail of the yellowfin on the right as we were reeling him in:
Result: I have a large ice chest in my kitchen, full to bursting with fresh fish steaks. My grill will be working overtime this weekend. It was a great time.
