The dissertation chapter I’m currently working on requires me to make claims about people’s intuitions – i.e. their everyday, pre-theoretical judgments – concerning how we should describe certain sorts of slightly strange psychological phenomena. The problem, though, is that philosophers’ intuitions are notoriously, well, philosophical, and it can be hard for someone who’s been reading Kant and Aristotle for a decade to get in touch with what the ordinary folks think. And so if a few of my readers would do me the tremendous favor of answering the questions in this survey (it should take about 10 minutes), I will be forever in your debt.

In exchange, I promise to explain eventually what this research is actually, you know, about. For now, though, take the survey. And thanks.
