This is banana bread and a free refill of my bike bottle at Loraine’s banana bread shop in Kahakuloa, Hawaii. It’s a traditional little fishing and farming town on the remote north shore of Maui. She runs the shop out of a garage behind her house, so you have to go down the driveway to find the place. She also made me a beautiful rainbow “shave ice,” bit I was so hot and hungry and thirsty that I ate the whole thing before I could get my camera out.
