Why Are Men So Cowardly?

The transgender movement and its allies exploit children and harass women. Why aren't men standing up for them?

I’m traveling today, and have a long layover at a connecting airport. I’m going to be as non-specific as I can to protect the person I’m about to mention. Because I have a few hours, I looked at my scuffed-up boots and decided to get them polished. I went to one of the shoeshine stands and took an empty seat. The stand is run by a young immigrant couple from a Third World country. The wife started working on my shoes, and we began to talk.

She and her husband are Catholics who came here with their young children ten years ago, escaping poverty and war. As we talked, she told me that they are completely confused about what’s happening in America. She told me about a friend whose five-year-old son came home from school one day asking if he is really a girl. The mom wanted to know where on earth he got such ideas. “My teacher,” he said.

The immigrant shoeshine lady talked about how anxious she is over her own kids in school. “You send them to school to get an education, but they come home saying things like this,” she said. “I don’t understand it at all!”

I reassured her that I shared her anger and frustration. She went on about how she had always looked up to America, but now, she doesn’t know what to think. Once again, I told her I agreed with her.

That was an hour ago, and I can’t stop thinking about this poor woman. How in the hell are we allowing this to happen to our country? Where are the men who should be defending women and children?

Some of these men are parents of Penn women’s swimmers, and they are sick of seeing their daughters crushed in competition by Lia Thomas, a male masquerading as a female, which NCAA rules allow to happen. They are stepping up:

Parents of the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team are demanding the NCAA change rules that have permitted transgender swimmer Lia Thomas to dominate the competition, declaring ‘at stake here is the integrity of women’s sports,’ DailyMail.com has learned.

The parents of about 10 swimmers sent a letter last week to the NCAA and forwarded it to the Ivy League and University of Pennsylvania officials.

‘At stake here is the integrity of women’s sports,’ they wrote in the letter obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com. ‘The precedent being set – one in which women do not have a protected and equitable space to compete – is a direct threat to female athletes in every sport. What are the boundaries? How is this in line with the NCAA’s commitment to providing a fair environment for student-athletes?

‘It is the responsibility of the NCAA to address the matter with an official statement,’ the parents continue. ‘As the governing body, it is unfair and irresponsible to leave the onus on Lia, Lia’s teammates, Lia’s coaches, UPenn athletics and the Ivy League. And it is unfair and irresponsible to Lia to allow the media to dictate the narrative without the participation of the NCAA.’

The NCAA has yet to respond to the letter, sent December 5.

One parent, who asked not to be identified for fear of repercussions for herself and her daughter, told DailyMail.com, ‘The swimmers have mixed feelings. Many of them want to speak up, but they don’t because they believe they’ll be ostracized.

‘Everybody is scared,’ the mom added. ‘Parents are also scared that the kids will be harmed. We are paying $80,000 for this school. Their life will be impacted.’

Look at the injustice to women of this state of affairs. Lia Thomas won this swim competition by far. No female can hope to compete with a pseudo-woman who has the body strength of a man:

J.K. Rowling will not bend the knee to these insane people. Thank heaven she has so much money she can’t be cancelled:

It is a moral atrocity that we don’t care enough about male-on-male prison rape that we make every effort to protect male inmates from it. It is another thing entirely that we deliberately introduce biological males into women’s prisons. Valerie Hudson, writing in Deseret News, reports:

Recently, though, states such as California, New Jersey and Illinois have begun to follow the examples of Canada and the U.K. in transferring male-bodied prisoners into women’s prisons on the basis of gender identity claims. While “sex” and “gender identity” are often and regrettably conflated, let us clarify that “sex” refers to material biology whereas “gender identity” refers to an individual’s interpretation of what their biological sex means to them.

So some prisoners are being assigned to certain prisons not on the basis of sex, but on the basis of how they view their gender. No medical certificate, no sexual reassignment surgery, no cross-sex hormones are necessary for such placement. Indeed, to make matters worse, the crimes committed by males asserting transgender identity can be counted in the official statistics as crimes committed by females in some locales.

Public polling finds an overwhelming majority of American voters — 77% — do not want to see male-bodied persons housed in women’s prisons. While no females have been placed in male prisons, sizable numbers of males have applied to be placed (and some have in fact been placed) in female prisons. In California to date, 291 requests have been made. Of those, 41 have been granted, six have been denied, 10 have changed their minds, and the remainder are pending.

And yes, these transfers are a problem for women. Women prisoners have been raped by male-bodied persons placed in women’s prisons. Some women prisoners who have been previous victims of rape, violence and abuse at the hands of men are deeply traumatized by having to share living quarters, including showers, with male-bodied persons. Condoms are being distributed in California women’s prisons for the very first time.

Read the whole thing. The original contains hyperlinks to sources for those statistics.

This is cruel and unusual punishment visited upon the biologically female inmates at the hands of woke state governments. We can only hope that the US Supreme Court will rule that way when the inevitable case comes before them. On the other hand, does the Bostock ruling tie SCOTUS’s hands in this matter?

A very liberal Democratic friend, a man who hates the GOP with the hate of a thousand million suns, just texted me to say he has been “trans-pilled” on this. He says that in his red-state county, transgender activists are pushing school officials to provide contact information to sources that will allow minors to order cross-sex hormones by mail if their parents will not comply with transition demands.

If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to read last night’s post about the angry mom tearing into a local school board after her daughter’s teachers encouraged the middle schooler to transition to male, and kept it secret from her (the mom). This comes on the heels of the revelation that California teachers had a recent conference in which they discussed ways to help minor children transition while tricking parents. This was the post that triggered my liberal red-state friend. He said that there is no place on the Democratic side to stand to fight this. The entire party is lined up to favor trans supremacy in all spheres. Indeed, I told him that a DC lobbyist once told me that the LGBT lobby is to the Democrats as the gun lobby is to Republicans — though let it be known that some gays and lesbians are finding their voice and speaking out against some of this trans nonsense. In the UK, the term “TERF” — for “trans-exclusive radical feminist” — is used to deride women, many of them lesbians, who reject male aggression under the guise of “trans rights”.

Readers, this is not a left-vs-right thing. This is about defending our children from exploitation. This is about defending female prisoners, who are among the most defenseless people in our society. We need to make this into a red-hot political issue. Our useless Republican Party, which has been scared to death to say anything negative about the trans phenomenon, needs to be forced to find it’s damn spine. We are not powerless. There can, and there must, be legislation to ban teachers from engaging in this kind of subterfuge and activism. The NCAA should be forced to abandon its lunatic rules allowing biological males to compete as women. Enough is enough. President Let’s Go Brandon will veto the legislation, but passing these common-sense bills is a start.

If you aren’t infuriated by the prospect of your little children being propagandized and exploited by activist woke teachers, there may not be any hope for you. Honestly, I cannot understand people like who just lie down and let this crap happen without a fight. However tolerant and affirming you might be about transgenderism, there is a bright, clear line between adults and children. And there is a bright, clear biological line between males and females when it comes to athletic competition. Women’s athletics are meaningless if male-bodied “women” are allowed to compete on the same level as biological women. The fact that this is allowed now means the triumph of wokeness over womanhood. It is woke misogyny.

I am not a radical feminist, but you’d better believe I’m on Team TERF, for the sake of defending women’s spaces and women’s integrity.

By the way, schools aren’t the only places children’s minds are being colonized by these radicals. Here is a seminarian intern at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Chicago (ELCA, of course) preaching to children as a drag queen:

St. Luke’s identifies itself as a progressive congregation. Here is a photo of its pastrix:

Chances are if you aren’t woke, you aren’t attending St. Luke’s, and placing yourself under the spiritual authority of Rev. Erin. But you should still know that there are churches that believe subverting gender and sexuality is a righteous act. These people are apostles of the culture of death. If you want to live — and if you want your children to live — run the other way, and don’t look back.
