Here’s a VFYT photo sequence for your consideration. It’s a bit unconventional, because it’s not actually from the table, but more so on the way to it.
In what has become a sort of unofficial college reunion, some friends and I (and our growing families) get together on Labor Day weekend to roast a 200 lb. hog and eat a goodly portion of it.
The hog is raised & roasted by our host (and college classmate), Caleb Ragland of Shady Rest Farm in Hodgenville, Ky.
Nothing beats farm to table when the table is on the farm!
