Mighty Favog, who alerted me to this hilarious juxtaposition, blames the newspaper for the blunder, but I’m thinking this was probably an algorithm at work. It saw the word “garden” in the story, and inserted the ad for the garden supply shop in the online and mobile versions. Whatever the truth, it’s pretty dang funny.
