I want to apologize to readers for being so very slow to approve comments today. I have been sleeping for the past six hours. The time stamps on the posts don’t always reflect that, because I write posts and schedule them to go up in a staggered rotation. I can’t approve your comments if I’m out of commission.

I had thought I was free of mono because I had gone a month without symptoms, but it has come roaring back. At this point, I think it’s probably a permanent condition. I’ve been back in Louisiana for 26 months now, and have been sick with mono for 19 of those months. Such, such are the joys. Thank you for your patience.
