PITTSBURGH– I’m currently sitting in a half-filled gym waiting for Michelle Obama. Frequent TAC contributor, Justin Logan has written a post up on CATO at Liberty, directing us to a piece in Commentary by Peter Feaver – a Bush administration advisor on the Iraq War. In it, Feaver, basically admits that the point of “The Surge” was to shore up political will for the war at home, and pass on the Iraq War to the next administration.

The Obama campaign is putting me in a good mood by blasting one of my favorite Ryan Adams songs, “Firecracker” over the speakers. Here is a subdued, acoustic version of that song, I found last night.
