In an earlier post I expressed some skepticism about the idea of an Obama-Webb ticket. But after watching the two interacting in the rally in Virginia last week, I’m reconsidering. I never doubted that with his military background, Republican past, ethnic origins and populist message, Webb could certainly help Obama target important constituencies, including those who are ironically being described now as Hillary Democrats.

Like many writers, Webb seems to be an introvert, but he has been doing much better in dealing with large audiences lately. So I hope that he has no “baggage” and that these guys vet him and that Obama chooses him.
