Three people were shot at a Houston-area college today. Look at the student cowering in the corner. Don’t know if he’s staging it or not (the men at the opposite end of the frame don’t look too concerned; maybe they’re cops). Still, it’s a pretty stark image.

UPDATE: That didn’t take long. A Texas reader says that Crouching Guy’s boots identify him as a cop or a firefighter. “Definitely staged,” the reader says. If the reader is right — and I believe him — that would explain the fact that there are cops or emergency responders sitting at the edge of the frame, not even noticing the quivering student in the corner.
