While the Department of Commerce’s very existence is troubling, Obama’s choice of Bill Richardson as Commerce Secretary is pretty depressing for those of us troubled by the rapidly expanding collusion of corporate America and the State.

My Examiner column this week takes a peek at Richardson’s record as governor and his love of “public-private partnerships.” As you might guess, it involves taxpayer money being funnelled to campaign donors to push the economy in the direction the politicians desire.
