View From Your Table

Beaverton, Oregon [1]

Beaverton, Oregon

The reader writes:

Chinese hot pot, or da bin lo (打邊爐).  A collection of meats, vegetables, and other dishes (in this case, thinly sliced beef, salmon, mussels, clams, fish cakes, fish balls, greens, tofu, and pasta) cooked in broth, at the table.  Always an excellent choice for a cold evening.  Or any evening, actually.

I love hot pot and it’s fortunate that I work only 10 minutes from Boston’s Chinatown.

How will the viewer be using the St. Germain? Is there a recipe to share? I love that stuff!

Wow, did you have to show that during the middle of our Orthodox Lenten fast?

I was doing OK up until now…

How will the viewer be using the St. Germain?

Drinking it, on the rocks.

How else? 🙂
