My son Matthew did not go to his classical homeschooling tutorial on Tuesday, as the region was locked down in an ice storm. His teacher e-mailed an assignment to the kids, telling them to illustrate in the ice and snow something they’ve learned in class. Matt chose to use a backyard planter, Lego men, and a beastly doll to represent Lucifer immobilized in Cocytus, the icy pit of Hell, surrounded by sinners eternally fixed in the frozen lake (Inferno, Cantos XXXIII and XXXIV). Notice Lucifer chewing on Judas, Brutus, and Cassius.
