Country's foreign minister gives insolent BBC interviewer hell

What a powerful showdown between Emily Maitlis, a BBC News journalist, and the Hungarian foreign minister Peter Szijjarto. If you don’t have time to watch the entire seven-minute interview, tune in at around the 3:30 moment, when the interviewer, who is visibly seething at the minister, all but calls him and his country a cesspool of racism because of their policies on multiculturalism, migration, and border security.

It’s really something. I haven’t seen a British television interviewer so viscerally hostile to a guest since that woman made a fool of herself interviewing Jordan Peterson. The foreign minister does a good job of throwing it all back in her face. The conflict in this video, though, shows you very clearly the clash between European elites and populists — and the stakes for all of Europe in the outcome.
