I hate to give this new Dinesh D’Souza movie any attention, but man, watching the trailer above really set me off. This is pure political porn, designed to feed hatred and hysteria by likening Democrats to Nazis and Fascists. OK, some on the left do the same thing to us conservatives. They’re wrong to do that, not only because it’s not accurate, but also — indeed mostly — because it’s designed not to illuminate, but solely to titillate and inspire hatred.

D’Souza’s website promos the movie with these lines:

Lincoln united his party and saved America from the Democrats for the first time. Can Trump—and we—come together and save America for the second time?

What kind of crackhead do you have to be to take that seriously?

I would say that Dinesh D’Souza ought to be ashamed of himself, but you can’t shame the shameless.
