Can Your Grocery Store Do This?

Walked past a car in the parking lot of our shiny new grocery store in St. Francisville yesterday. The lady who drives it has the same sign on the driver’s side too. I love the proof-texting, and the “s” on “Revelation.”

I’m thinking you really are only going to see that kind of thing in the South. But here’s what you will almost certainly only see in south Louisiana: the Catholic priest called in to bless the store upon its opening. Yeah, we have snakes everywhere (neighbor killed a copperhead in his back yard this morning), and it’s hot as blazes, but that car door and the grocery store blessing are things I sincerely love about living here.
