I don’t have broadcast television, and I don’t care about the Texas Rangers or the St. Louis Cardinals, so I haven’t been following this world series. But I did tune in to ESPN radio last night to listen to the last half of the ninth inning, and be there, so to speak, when the baseball team from my old city won the World Series. As with much of baseball, that stuff just doesn’t happen. Until it does.

What are the odds? Game Seven tonight.
