I realized last night that it’s been forever since I’ve put up a VFYT. I have a big backlog of shots y’all have sent. I’m sorry about that; I’ve got to do better.

When I saw this last night in my own kitchen, I knew it had to be a VFYT. This is such an Orthodox Lenten image. Julie made homemade falafel last night, while the massive mound of dough for prosphora (the Orthodox communion loaf) rose on the counter in the background. We two stood at that counter moments after this was taken, and ate her falafel. It was terrific. She can do anything.
