Swiss apricot and apple tart enjoyed outdoors with the Lausanne Cathedral, where Calvin argued for the Reformation and now houses one of the most expensive instruments in the world; also, only European cathedral organ built by an American firm. A town crier – last in Europe? – still climbs the tower to announce “all is well” around 2 am.
