Those are my fat little fingers around a half-eaten link of the most delicious boudin I have ever eaten. It’s all about the pepper. From the aptly named Best Stop in Scott, just to the west of Lafayette. Passed through there today, bought some hot boudin links, and stood on the sidewalk out front eating them. If you find yourself on I-10 motoring through Lafayette, in the name of all that is good and holy, go to the Best Stop! It’s only about a mile off the interstate.
