Naunihal Singh says the smart money is on Cardinal Turkson. But according to the bookies, it’s more than twice as likely that the next Pope will be one of three top-tier Italian cardinals.

(Of course, some of those odds are questionable – some wag has put the odds against the white smoke rising for Richard Dawkins at 666-to-1.)
