Dave Weigel, who begins his “Right Now” blog with the Washington Post today, notes a fitting fundraiser planned by the RNC’s “Young Eagles” donor program:

It was only two weeks ago that the final touches were put on a (now cancelled) fundraiser at a Xe (the company formerly known as Blackwater) training facility. That was a perfect young Republican fundraiser: guns, scandal, a story that drove liberals insane.

Alas, that receipt from a “bondage-themed nightclub” ruined the fun for everyone by getting the the Young Eagles’ wings clipped. Now it’s back to rubber chicken for the beleaguered RNC.
