The latest New York Review of Books has a good article on Jim Webb by Elizabeth Drew, although I wish she had said more about Webb’s new book. It took me back to those heady days in ’06 when Webb slew the dull-witted dragon, George Allen and refused to discuss his “boy” with our president.

The New York Review of Books is one of my favorite publications by the way–I often describe myself as a “New York Review of Books reactionary.”
