Gökhan Çınkara is a researcher, a columnist, and an analyst. He is an assistant professor at Necmettin Erbakan University. His research interests include Israeli studies and social movements and elites in the Middle East. He was a visiting researcher at Brandeis University in 2018 and a visiting researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2016-17. Çınkara received his PhD in political science from Ankara University. Çınkara is also a columnist at the Independent Turkish, and he is a contributor to Fikra Forum, The National Interest, Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, Cambridge Middle East and North Africa Forum.
