According to this information, of the six fattest nations on Earth, five are English-speaking. Why do you suppose that is? Seriously, what is it about the Anglosphere that makes us so prone to obesity? It’s not our relative prosperity. There are countries just as prosperous as we are whose populations are dramatically thinner.

It has to be cultural. But what? Ideas? I keep thinking about how I’ve never seen in continental Europe an all you can eat buffet.
