The American Conservative is ringing in the New Year with some new features and new personnel. @TAC readers have already met editorial assistant Will Upton, who comes to us from Northwestern University. We’ve bid a fond farewell to Freddy Gray, who has returned to London to join the Spectator; stepping into his shoes as TAC‘s next literary editor is Kelly Jane Torrance, lately of the Washington Times.

During the Christmas season we launched a new minisite for Jack Hunter’s TAC TV podcasts, which can be seen here every Tuesday and Friday. And replacing our PostRight blog on the main page is a new feature, TAC Classics, spotlighting prime material from our archives. (You can continue to follow PostRight alumni Nathan Origer, John Payne, and David Lindsay at their personal blogs.)

2010 presents great opportunities for TAC, as Americans seek an alternative to the welfare-warfare statists of the political and media establishment. We’re grateful to all our readers for their support over the past year; please keep the fight going strong with your donations and by subscribing (and giving gift subscriptions).
