That’s No. 1 Son at Taqueria Corona on Magazine Street, trying to tame a wild quesadilla. We went there after spending the morning at the Audubon Zoo, which is a gorgeous place (and I ran into a couple of readers there — hey Vince and Olivia!). At Taqueria Corona, Julie and I had fish tacos (below). Then we drove home. Unloading the car, I threw my back out, which is par for the course; I spent all of Thanksgiving Day (after lunch, I mean) in bed in the hotel, in a mononucleotic swoon, while Julie and the kids went to City Park and had a blast. Stupid middle-aged health issues. I hate them. But I loved eating and drinking in New Orleans, which realigned my chakras just right!
