Today on theamericanconservative.com, William Anthony Hay reviewed Robert D. Kaplan’s The Revenge of Geography, and Philip Giraldi argued against the unconstitutional accumulation of Presidential power.

Scott Galupo challenged accusations from Red State‘s Eric Erickson that the media was unfairly preoccupied with Romney’s response to the attacks in Libya and Egypt. Daniel Larison defended the media from the same charge by John Podhoretz, and Rod Dreher argued that Romney-bashing misses the point as both sides seem unable to grasp America’s foreign policy challenges.

Samuel Goldman made the case for elections over strikes. Finally, Dreher found Homer’s The Odyssey to be the inspiration for deep conversations between him and his son “about what it means to be a man in full.”
