Kourosh Ziabari is a journalist and scholar of media studies based in New York. A contributor to Foreign Policy and New Lines Magazine, he has earned a master’s in political journalism from Columbia Journalism School. He is the 2022 recipient of the Professional Excellence Award from the Foreign Press Correspondents Association and an alumni of World Press Institute fellowship with the University of St. Thomas.
