Alfred Regnery is President of Republic Book Publishers. He previously was President and Publisher of Regnery Publishing for nearly 20 years, and was Publisher of The American Spectator. An attorney, he served as Minority Counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee and in the Reagan Justice Department. He is on several non profit boards, including the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, where served as Chairman. He lives on an 83 acre farm in Rappahannock County Virginia.
