It’s the end of white asparagus season. Delicious dinner. Below, one of my friends buttering his up. They wrap it in ham, put salt, pepper, and chopped boiled egg on top, then pour melted butter on it:

When in London a few years ago we took the Eurostar to Brussels for lunch. The small cafe (4 or 5 tables) served a 5 course asparagus lunch. Memorable (if you like asparagus)!
