Granola, cinnamon rolls, bread made in that oven.
And me huddling by the fire eating beans and Sudafed and despising all things sinusy. It ain’t right.

There is something wonderful about so much Mexican baking. I remember clearly getting bread from a small town bakery while we were camping away from the resorts. It was cooked in a stone oven in loaves that were so big we had to use my daughter’s stroller to get them back to the campground intact. Easily the best bread ever. Although I do not know if I would want to be staying in those type of areas now.
