These people are winning and have won — they have the overculture and its institutions, including the Democratic Party — and yet they posit their religious opposition as skinhead types who are preparing a pogrom. The revolution will not be complete, I guess, until the last Evangelical pastor is strangled with the entrails of the last Republican state legislator.

Seriously, this tells you something about the next phase of the culture war, and if you’re a social or religious conservative, it’s not good.
