More impressive behavior from Our Friends The Pakistanis:

Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Pakistan’s railways minister, has offered a bounty of $100,000 for the death of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, calling the filmmaker’s murder a “noble deed.”

“I announce today that this blasphemer who has abused the holy prophet, if somebody will kill him, I will give that person a prize of $100,000,” the government official said Saturday, adding that he would give the reward from his own pocket, Al Jazeera reported.

The Pakistani government reacted by denouncing the minister’s offer to pay a bounty for the murder of a foreign citizen for the crime of making a crappy video. Still, wow, Pakistan, you are in catastrophic economic trouble. Foreigners don’t want to invest in your country. Is this really the kind of work your leaders need to be incentivizing?

By the way, I’m so glad the United States has given you more than $20 billion since 9/11.
