I have a colleague who listens to Rush Limbaugh during lunch hour. It’s been a while since I’ve done that, so I won’t be judgmental. Today I’m told the Rush show was all excited over “Operation Chaos”–people who had switched parties to vote for Hillary to keep the Democratic race going. There are 165,000 Pennsylvania Republicans who have switched parties for this election, enough to significantly impact the vote if they went in one direction. Exit poll results from these ex-Republicans would interest me a lot. How many voting tactically, to create maximum difficulty in the opponent’s camp? How many because of simple disgust with Bush-McCain foreign policy? How many because they hate Hillary, or are inspired by Obama? Those in the second category should be TAC subscribers.
