Infamous (or famous depending on your point of view) Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota was told by the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) that she was basically on her own until election day as the cash stapped organization pulled their ads supporting her to spend money in on other more pressing races. Her “anti-American” comments on Harball and the fact she wouldn’t even own up to saying them until yesterday shows she’s become too toxic even for the House GOP to consider supporting.

Now this doesn’t she mean she’s toast. As the linked article will point out, she’s got plenty of cash on hand to spend on ads and besides, there isn’t much time left to buy until Election Day. For her to lose in a strong Republican district would require a lot of Republicans to reject her brand of politics which will be interesting to watch to see if that does  happen. No doubt she’ll play up the fact that the unpopular Washington Republicans abandoning her as show of her independence and willingness to speak her mind. It may work.

Of course her problems seem to arise when she does speak her mind…
