Foie gras on toast, and a 2012 Bordeaux, on the first day Parisian restaurants have been open to serve sitting customers in forever. The city is coming alive again, and I, along with my friend Pierre, were here to see it. Our restaurant was on the rue St. Jacques, the oldest street of Paris, which dates back to the Roman period.
