This beer hall is home to a German men’s and women’s choir. German beer, on tap, for cheap. They also have a beer garden and do events like Oktoberfest and German classes. Open to people of German speaking ancestry out just with an interest. This being a military town, lot of folks are involved because they were stationed there. This being a Hispanic heavy town, the dirndl and lederhosen wearers are a touch browner than usual. But Germany is as much part of San Antonio’s history as Chicanos. It’s a fun mix. 🙂
