Obviously this is just “self-defeating pessimism” and shows our “lack of resolve,” right? Only crazy extremists and appeasers think these things! How in the world could occupying another country cause more terrorism? Might occupation have some sort of causal relationship with terrorism? Now, why didn’t I think of that before?
