Many adults in the United States think the coalition effort will have a negative effect, according to a poll by Ipsos-Public Affairs released by the Associated Press. 60 per cent of respondents think there will be more terrorism in the United States because the country went to war in Iraq. ~Angus Reid

Obviously this is just “self-defeating pessimism” and shows our “lack of resolve,” right?  Only crazy extremists and appeasers think these things!  How in the world could occupying another country cause more terrorism?  Might occupation have some sort of causal relationship with terrorism?  Now, why didn’t I think of that before?
