Hey Percy fans, I’ve just heard from one of the Walker Percy Weekendorganizers that we just sold a bunch of tickets after an e-mail blast. We have only a limited number left (something like 80). It’s possible that we will make more available, but don’t count on it. I mean, we would love to have an overflow crowd, but as I’ve been saying, we are a very small festival in our first year, and we may simply not be able to turn the ship around in time to get enough food for the crawfish boil and the pig roast dinners under the live oaks (like you see above, in George Rodrigue’s portrait).

Point is, if you want to come to the festival on June 6-8, please don’t delay buying your tickets — and if you have bought your tickets, don’t delay making a hotel reservation. You can do both online (tickets here; accommodations here).
