Walker Percy Weekend Tickets On Sale

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the novelist's birth

Walker-Percy_GR copyIt’s official: tickets for Walker Percy Weekend 2016 are on sale. This year’s event will be held from June 3-5.

Here’s a link to the full schedule.

Here’s a link to the confirmed panels and panelists (I have one that we finalized today, but I’m waiting on confirmation from the speaker before we put it on the site).

I’ve taken a back seat this year in the festival, and am helping somewhat with the programming, but it’s being run extremely well by Missy Couhig, Carly Whatley, James Fox-Smith, Nancy Vinci, and other volunteers. I’ll answer what questions I can, though, but really, you should write to the festival through this link.

Please remember that only a limited number of tickets will be sold. We work to keep the festival manageable and intimate. Do not put off buying tickets, especially to the Bourbon Tour, which is a big, big draw. This year, we will be honored by the presence of both Walker and Bunt’s daughters, Mary Pratt and Ann, in town to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their father’s birth.

Here is the direct link to the Eventbrite page where you can reserve tickets.
