Our reader writes:

I am in Skala, Kefalonia. Yesterday, my husband’s cousin (who lives here) baked a delicious meat pie, which is Kefalonia’s traditional food for important moments and events. This pie consists of more than 11 ingedients (the stuffing is made with the meat of a leg of a one-year-old goat, onion, garlic, tomato, rice, potato, eggs, wine, cinammon and some more that I can’t remember). We ate it around the balcony table while looking at the Ionian Sea behind the pine trees.

And no rattlesnakes! Go, Greece!

By the way, I’m being inundated by VFYTs. I’m probably going to have to go to publishing more than one a day. Thank you all so much for your interest in this project. Remember everybody: do your best to include the food on your table in a broader visual context. Remember to focus. And remember: no faces!
