Prosciutto and mozzarella on fresh baked baguette with my own copy of HDCSYL! Happy happy easter tide! Thank you, brother!

I hope to see this reader and others from the Boston area at my Boston College appearance next week. I’ll be talking Dante on Thursday April 23, from 5 to 7:30pm. Details are here [3] — and though it’s free and open to the public, BC would like you to register so they’ll know how many to expect.

I love a good fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and prosciutto sandwich.

Rod, I purchased your book last night from a B&N store (I live in Columbus, Ohio). You’ll be happy to know that you were in the poetry section, right next to the Dante translations.
The book is a thing of beauty, easily the most attractive book in my home. I had a wonderful time showing it to my older daughter today, and explaining the illustrations.
I’ve only been able to read one chapter (very busy), but it’s definitely pulled me in. I think many people will be able to relate to the family dynamic you described.

My goodness but that is a photogenic book. Repeated congratulations! I almost certainly will not be able to read it until after an upcoming move from an East Coast big city to a Midwestern town to be closer to family – if only there were a book for that sort of a relocation – and these posts about your book and speaking tour have me aching with anticipation.
