I am a swede visiting the small town of Akureyri in the north of Iceland. In a small restaurant I was served fried whale steak with a baked potato, a spicy cream sauce, sweet lingonberrys and sour beets. The wonderful whale tastes like a combination of tuna filet and beef tenderloin.
