Dinner last night at a Greek spot called Taverna Tony, probably the most delicious Greek food I’ve ever had. Because it’s Lent, I briefly felt like poor Forese Donati, the starving glutton in Dante’s Purgatorio, when they brought the lamb chops around. But the taramosalata and all the rest was so good I hardly noticed.

Sorry that I’ve not been posting. Wi-fi on the fritz in my room last night. I’m going to get a Dante post out before I head to the airport. It’s funny how not being able to blog my daily Dante throws me out of spiritual kilter.

Good news on the creative front, though: I spent some time last night talking to a noted television actress who loves Little Way and who is going to reach out to the producer who owns film and TV rights to see if they can make something work. And I had an encouraging conversation this morning with an acquisitions editor at a major publishing house about my proposed Dante book. So excited that there are now more than one publisher clamoring for the book! Yesterday at Pepperdine, I talked to someone who came to the conference, but who also has been reading this blog’s Dante postings. He said that the things in the Purgatorio have been so important to him in terms of spiritual counsel, and have come at such a critical time in his life that he sees them as providential.
