That’s spaghetti alla vongole. You know, when commenter Bernie claimed that the coastal region of Campania around Sorrento was the most beautiful place he had ever seen, I was somewhat incredulous. But now, having spent a day taking buses around the peninsula, I think he may have a point. I actually took few photos today—the beauty was so utterly overpowering that I despaired of my camera skills even coming close to doing it any justice.

Even the photo above is a pale representation of the view from my table.
