This is a photo from a restaurant in my wife’s home state of Espirito Santo, Brazil. ES is the home of a style of Brazilian cooking called cozinha Capixaba- in my opinion the best food Brazil has to offer and which emphasizes the area’s fresh seafood. This dish is called Moqueca Capixaba, a seafood made from tomatoes, cilantro, parsley, lime juice, a fish called peroa, lime juice, garlic, onions, and which gets its rich red color from colorao- a powder derived from a tropical seed. This is a restaurant in an area know as Ilha das Caieiras- the best place in ES to eat Capixaban cuisine.
There is not enough time in a man’s life to travel this world and eat all the good things in it. Thank you, reader. And thank you, readers.
